The Atlanta Lady Thrashers women’s ice hockey team is open to all women ages 13 and older. We also have the Jr. Thrashers for girls aged 8-19 years old. We welcome girls and ladies regardless of previous experience. We have former NCAA Division I players as well as skaters who’ve never played hockey before.
Our practices are structured to give coaching and instruction based on skill level so everyone gets a chance to learn and improve via drills and fun small area games. Our scrimmage teams are divided evenly each week, and our games versus local co-ed teams are split into two levels – one for advanced players and a separate game for beginners.
